Electronics Engineering Department
        An Electronics Engineer's career path can lead to a broad range of Electronics Jobs in different specialties in various industries. Electronics engineering prepare a student to design, build, research and test electronic circuits and components used in hi-tech devices so, prominent in today's society. All though rising demand for electronic products including communication equipments, defense related equipments, medical electronics and consumer products continues to increase demand for electronics engineer. Electronics Engineering covers study and design of modern applications & gadgets. The various fields like VLSI, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing etc have the foundation of Electronics Engineering .

    To achieve excellent standards of quality education by keeping pace with rapidly changing technologies and to create technical manpower of global standards in Electronics Engineering with capabilities of accepting new challenges.

M1:To impart quality and value based education to raise satisfaction of all stake holders.

M2:To contribute towards the advancement of engineering and technologyto create competent professionals.

M3:To provide all possible support to promote research & development activities in the field of Electronics engineering and allied areas.

Programme Educational Objectives

The educational objectives of the Electronics Engineering programme are designed to produce competent engineers who are ready to contribute effectively to the advancement of electronics engineering causes and to accommodate the needs of the profession. The graduates shall:

  1. Apply their technical skills to find solution of complex problems encountered in modern electronics engineering practice.
  2. Function effectively in the world of rapidly changing technologies in the broad context of electronics engineering and to develop new products and technologies in service to mankind.
  3. Satisfy Stakeholders, Quality Assurance & take up higher studies in Electronics and allied areas in engineering & management.
  4. Use their skills in ethical and professional manner to contribute to research & development of innovative products.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs): 

The Electronics Engineering Graduates shall be able to

PSO1: Utilize the knowledge of signal processing and biomedical electronics.

PSO2: Demonstrate innovation and shall have capacity to protect IPR.

PSO3: Demonstrate industrial practices learned through internship and solve the live problems of industries.

 
Program Outcomes

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

PO1: Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

PO2: Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

PO3: Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

PO4: Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

PO5:Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

PO6:The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

PO7:Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

PO8:Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

PO9:Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.

P10:Communication: Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.

P11:Project management and finance: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.

P12:Life-long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.

 
General Proficiency
     Grooming is very important part of an individual personality. In General Proficiency all efforts are directed to enhance and groom one's outer and inner self to bring about a positive change in one's life, boosting one's confidence, learning fine etiquettes and manners, adding style and grace to the way one looks, talks and walks and overall imbibing oneself with positivity, liveliness and peace.
    This in-turn creates the personality which can match and outwin the competition and as well become well-cultured person with all the required skill sets which are required to be a smart global citizen. The course deals with improving the skills namely Personal Skills, Social Skills, Inter-personal Skills, Family Skills, Soft Skills.

    GHRCE is the first Institute in the region to have started special classes and training sessions for students to hone their persona in general proficiency for readily being acceptable by organizations and schools of higher learning. The T&P Cell and the Departmental Forums design well crafted programs with interface from external agencies to instill vigor and self confidence in students. The singular purpose is to develop in students the ability to learn and understand the nuances of the changing world. The students are taught to walk the extra mile and that there is always a better way to do things.
    

To impart various skills institute has incorporated General Proficiency subject in every semester which will offer

  • Horse riding which is the skill of riding, driving, or vaulting with horses. This broad description includes the use of horses for recreational activities, artistic or cultural exercises, and competitive sport.
  • Health courses like Yoga, Pranayam, Fitness
  • Hobby classes like Dance, Kathak, Synthesizer, Tabla
  • Languages like communication skills, Japanese, Spanish, German, French
